Where are we?
The Museum is situated in the ground floor of the old Courthouse building in Bloxham, adjacent to the Parish Church of St Mary’s in Church Street, Bloxham.
This is the main road through the village and there is a layby just in front of the building. Look out for the large hanging sign on the end of the building.
The magnificent Parish Church is well worth a visit; its 198 ft spire can be seen from miles around. For a day out in beautiful Bloxham, your visit to the museum could be combined with a visit to the Church and a walk around the village. There are several pubs in the village offering refreshments throughout the day.
There is on street parking nearby and the Museum is accessible for wheelchairs.
A regular bus service operates from Banbury to Chipping Norton. Please check times of buses operating on this line.
Our Exhibitions
As well as the ongoing exhibition telling the story of Bloxham, each year there is a new and exciting exhibition. Check the What’s On section of our website and local notices for more details of the annual exhibitions
Our exhibitions are designed to appeal to all ages and there is often a quiz for children to enjoy during their visit.
